The closest metro station to our hotel is "Bolhão", which is 5 minutes away.

Super small hotel, centrally located. Excellent breakfast.

No kettle, hot drinks in the room would have been a real bonus.

Exceptional

Great location, on a quiet street but close to a market, metro station, a busy street with lots of shops and restaurants, a 20-min walk to the river. Nice and spacious room. Great breakfast options, especially the cakes.

The coffee at breakfast could have been better, but other than that everything was great.

Highly recommend boutique hotel.

Excellent location, very clean and nicely presented. Pleasant soaps and lotions. Delicious and varied breakfast, fresh and kept replenished. All day Nespresso and homemade cake too, mmm. Staff very helpful, organising taxis and a fab Douro valley trip.

We’re both just over 6 foot and food the bed too short, sounds small but makes for achy ankles ???? and poor sleep.

Cute little hotel

The hosts where wonderful, always very helpful. The room was small but clean and you had everything you needed. Great breakfast. The hotel is located a little bit outside of the City Center but within a couple of walking minutes you where right in the middle of everything.

The walls were very thin, so you could easily hear your neighbors talking, walking and watching TV.

Great location and walkable to everything. Friendly staff and easy checkin. We opted for the breakfast and enjoyed the selection of home baked items, fruit, yogurt, meats & cheeses.

Perfect name for this charming hotel.

Helpful staff. We arrived late at night, ( after 11pm) Reception helped with our luggage, gave directions for next morning with map, brought water to our room. Exceptionally polite young man. Thank you. The bed was extremely comfortable. Didn’t get to have tea & cake in the cute dining room but it is available all day & night , except during breakfast service. Very nice touch.

Might have been difficult to find at night, we took a taxi from airport.

Exceptional

Pretty much everything was great from the moment we were met at the door by the friendly and helpful staff. The check in process was easy, the room was clean and brought, the breakfast was very good and was a very complete meal; more than just a continental breakfast. Coffee is available all day. The location was great. Very quiet yet within just a five - or ten-minute walk from lots of places to eat, drink, and sightsee. It's in the older part of town, so be ready for lots of old beautiful buildings and some very narrow streets and sidewalks.

We really had no complaints.

Charming boutique hotel!

Great staff, charming boutique hotel close to where you want to be. Loved the free coffee and cake 24/7!

The room could use a fresh coat of paint but otherwise clean, and comfortable bed.

This is a delightful hotel conveniently located near the city center.

The location is exceptional, conveniently near the city centre. Numerous parking facilities in the vicinity make securing a spot for your vehicle easy. The rooms are impeccably clean and peaceful. The staff is courteous and provides excellent service.

The only thing I would really improve is the breakfast. They were from 8 o'clock, and we were generally in a hurry, but unfortunately, breakfast was not entirely laid out until around 8:30.

Lovely stay, very comfortable and staff very helpful

The hotel is a delightful, small hotel. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The rooms are small but comfortable and clean. The daily home baked cake along with free self help coffee is a lovely touch.

There was nothing that we didn’t like except perhaps the perfumed scent in the passageway to the bedrooms was very strong

Lovely small hotel in Porto

It is a lovely small hotel close to the metro and the main shopping street. The rooms were modern and of a good size. The receptionists were extremely helpful and spoke excellent English. I would definitely stay at the hotel again.

There is no lift. Nothing else.

Quaint little "Hotel Charming"- Porto.

Quaint little pretty, boutique like hotel. Lovely bedrooms with shutters on the windows. We booked 3 and all were different and very clean, airy and comfortable. Definitely lives up to its name "Charming". Staff were excellent.

Probably could have done with a sign on the outside - didn't notice one but that's part of the charm of the hotel.

Clean and tidy with friendly staff - would definitely stay here again

The staff were so friendly and helpful, especially Gonçalo who was absolutely brilliant. The room was clean, tidy and the bed was very comfortable, there was a little desk and a mirror which was great. We didn’t eat breakfast there, but every day staff leave a cake near reception for guests which is a lovely touch. The location is central and easy to get to.

It’s very hard to think of anything to improve our stay - if I had to think of things, the shower pressure and temperature take a bit of tinkering with to get right, and I would have really loved a little bedside table on my side of the bed. Not big things at all!

We really enjoyed Porto and the hotel was good.

The location was very good to walk to the historic centre. The property is very well mantained. They bake fresh a different cake everyday and they offer it to the guests which is very nice.

We choosed this hotel because we understood there was parking provided, but it seems that you have to pre-arrange it. We had to find a parking lot while there was only 1 car in their parking for all the days.

Very pleasant small hotel in Porto

Our bedroom was clean and well equipped with three windows, the bed was very comfortable, and with a good shower in the bathroom. The location was fine, quite quiet but with a lovely local cafe almost next door and just a few minutes walk to the top of the main shopping street Santa Catarina. Porto is very hilly with some steep slopes. The breakfast was good with hot drinks, muesli, yoghurts, cakes, bread rolls and jam, and fresh and dried fruit. This is a lovely hotel with very friendly and helpful staff who speak excellent English and is good value for money.
